SPIROL receives the Green Circle Award from the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection

September 17, 2008 - SPIROL has received the Green Circle Award from the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection for our Environmental Management System.

The related press release from Governer Rells' office states: "Spirol International Corporation's Environmental Management System was certified to ISO 14001. The most significant successes of Spirol's Environmental Management System were a 22.67% decrease in Waste Oil disposal resulting from 100% recycling of metal cutting lubricants. In addition, Spirol reduced electricity consumption by 7.78% with the installation of a High Efficient Lighting system equipped with motion detectors in office areas."
