Model RA Automatic Radial Riveters

The SPIROL Model RA assembly machine combines two operations — installation of the rivet and forming the rivet head — into one compact, efficient system.

The rivet is automatically fed, oriented and delivered to the point of load where it is presented in the fixture and held firmly in place.  The parts to be assembled are then simply loaded onto the rivet.  With a touch of optical actuators, the rivet advances all the way through the assembly, and the riveter advances to radially produce the desired head.

As the completed assembly is removed, another rivet rises for the next assembly cycle.

This machine will accommodate solid headed rivets ranging in size from 0 gauge (1/16") through 16 gauge (1/4") with a shank length-to-head diameter ratio of 3-to-1 or greater.  Additional sizes/specials are available upon request and review by the SPIROL Engineering Department.
