Compression Limiters are designed to protect the plastic components of an assembly from the compressive loads generated by tightening bolts.
SPIROL's slit seam Compression Limiter is produced from carbon steel in heat treated Series CL350, and non-heat treated Series CL300, to accommodate different proof loads. Series CL101 and CL111 Compression Limiters are produced from brass and aluminum. The innovative new Series CL500 are roll formed, insert moldable compression limiters designed to replace more expensive machined limiters.
